TCA Peeling: Treatment Details, Benefits, Precautions & Side Effects

If redness persists longer than minutes, decrease the contact time of the peel or discontinue use. Your skin will tell you for itself whether daily use of chemical peeling makes sense – redness or burning is a sign of ‘too much’. In such cases, you can either reduce the concentration or the frequency of use. Daily chemical peeling is usually not necessary, unless you are using a very weak formula. After a light peeling, the skin needs between 1 and 7 days to regenerate. The area of ​​skin treated may temporarily be lighter or darker than the surrounding skin.

At 30% acid, my skin had scabbed over and kinda lightly crusted when I had done a 2nd coating.

We will apply enough peel solution to achieve the full frosting as seen in the picture above.
